My heart is burdened for those who are suffering from sickness and disease. As Christians, we have an inheritance and should not have to live in defeat and illness. It is not God’s best for us.
(John 10:10)
‘The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’
(Isaiah 53:5)
Jesus purchased everything for us on the cross.
‘But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.’
Whenever Jesus encountered sickness, His attitude was to heal it. (Matthew 4;23-24, 8:16,17, 9:35-36) Jesus had compassion for the sick, just as we automatically have compassion for our children when they are ill. It would be a most cruel and unusual parent that, seeing one of their children ill, would think “This child should suffer some more to learn a lesson”. These instincts we have are part of the image of God in us and reflect the heart of God. All who came to Jesus for healing were healed. None were told to wait.
This year, the Lord has laid it on my heart to focus on empowering believers to walk in health and manifest healing. I want to help you and have started a Bible College to empower you in understanding healing and deliverance better.
The root cause of many illnesses lies in a place where our soul needs inner healing or where we struggle with mental strongholds. We will see our physical healing manifest when we address the battle of the mind and uproot inner healing issues. There can also be other obstacles to your healing, but all of this can be overcome with the power and authority of the Lord. All of these will be taught in our course, so if you are interested in studying more about this, you can email me. ester@chariswellnessministries.co.za
